Some Personal Stuff
My name is Madison Lopez, a 26 year old business professional who is currently looking to start a new chapter in my professional life!
Currently, I am working in the HR field where I get the opportunity to interact with potential employees and the clients that desire those employees. The clients I specifically work with desire blue collar temporary employees who have the potential to become permanent employees. My goal has been to provide both our employees a job that they find fulfilling and my clients with outstanding customer service. Being so involved cleint interactions has showed me that I have a passion for creating quick and creative solutions to their HR needs and I would love to learn how to provide solutions to thier other needs.
Previously, I worked in the restaurant industry and managed every aspect of my restaurant’s operations, from the HR side to the customer service side. Working in the restaurant industry taught me how to think on my feet quickly when presented with an issue, being presented with time sensitive problems on an almost daily basis. During my time in the restaurant I even found that this particular type of stress was enjoyable to me because it forces me to think outside of the box in order to resolve an issue quicker than I have ever had to before.
While I do enjoy my current work it has a drawback, in that it does not require me to be outwardly creative. To combat this I let my creative side loose as soon as I come home, working on small personal projects. As a hobby I love making both pencil and charcoal sketches and digital artwork using both the apple Procreate app along with Photoshop. My work is certainly not at a professional level but I still find it invigorating to create.
A few examples of my work that I create for fun!

Volunteer Work
Ohio University Playwrights Fest 2014

I had the opportunity to work as a sound technician for two productions over the course of the 2014 Playwrights Fest. As the sound technician I got to work closely with the sound designer and the stage manager of both productions. From this experience I learned how to set up a sound board, how to balance audio levels and how to follow the cues given to me by the stage manager.
